Annual Fire Alarm Inspection (NFPA 72 – Louisiana)

An annual NFPA 72 inspection is the most comprehensive evaluation of your building’s fire alarm system. During this inspection, we test every life-safety device in your system, including smoke detectors, heat detectors, duct detectors, pull stations, notification appliances (horns, strobes, speakers), door-holders, relays, control modules, and monitoring interfaces. We verify the performance of the fire alarm control unit, check all power supplies and batteries under load, confirm alarm/supervisory/trouble transmission to the monitoring station, and validate proper operation of elevator recall, smoke control, suppression interfaces, and emergency control functions. Every device is tested for sensitivity, response, wiring integrity, and address reporting to ensure code-compliant performance.

What sets Capitol City Fire Protection & Life Safety apart is the quality and accuracy of our inspection process. We use calibrated test equipment, barcode or device-level tracking to eliminate missed points, and detailed NFPA 72–compliant digital reports that include photos, deficiency descriptions, code references, and recommended corrective actions. Our inspections are designed to reduce false alarms, increase system reliability, and keep your facility compliant with the Louisiana State Fire Marshal and insurance requirements. With our expert-level knowledge, NICET IV oversight, and fast turnaround on reports and repairs, you receive a higher standard of protection—and a partner you can rely on for compliance year after year.
